Serendipity is a girls-only children's home and BESD special school providing an outstanding education and ensuring outstanding outcomes for the girls in our care.
We are one of a handful of specialist provisions in the country providing education and care for girls only. The school and our family-style childrens' homes offer a unique therapeutic provision for girls aged 9-16 who are not suited to mainstream school because of severe or complex social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. We specialise in the education and care of girls who have experienced extreme trauma and who would benefit from placement in a girls-only environment.
Our school was rated as outstanding in its Ofsted inspection in 2009 and in a recent inspection of our children's homes the outcomes for young people were recognised as being outstanding.
