The dedicated Head of Welfare and HomeLink Team provide an important support service to all of our students, their families and carers.
The HomeLink Team works alongside students, teachers, therapists and external agencies and organisations in order to encourage good relations and effective dialogue between the school and key people. This is supported with daily communication, home visits and regular multi-agency meetings for all our students.
We offer 'WrapAround Care' for each student that allows parents, carers and social workers to be able to contact us outside of school hours. Furthermore, students' contact with their families is supported in an appropriate, planned and sensitive way. It is our belief that students are always more successful when they know school and home are working together for them.
As well as helping new students settle in to school, the HomeLink Team supports college placements and work experience. We also offer support with assessments, targeted development and integrated working to help our young people achieve their full potential.
