GCSE Results 2024/25

All students who are able to sit GCSE exams are encouraged to do so during their time at The Serendipity School, and it is something we are really proud of. We are aware that for many students the thought of sitting externally assessed and moderated exams is daunting and something that they may not have envisaged for themselves when they first started their journey with us.

Our results are based on a small cohort of 5 students for year 11, and in the academic year 2024/25, 80% of these students achieved pass grades at GCSE.

Given the needs of our cohorts, GCSE grades can be variable year to year, for the period 2024/25 the pass rates and highest grades for each subject were as follows:

English has a 100% pass rate, the highest grade being a grade 6.
Maths has an 80% pass rate, highest grade 5.
Science has 100% pass rate, highest grade 5.
Art 100% pass rate, highest grade 6.
Food Technology 100% pass rate, highest grade 2.

All 5 students entered for exams, have achieved at least 3 nationally recognised qualifications, with some achieving over 5 which is the national standard.

All 5 students were able to access college courses locally, or continue with bespoke education programmes outside of mainstream education.

As a school we are always proud of the achievements of our students whatever their results as we know their journey and effort they have made in their time with us.
